Yes, folks, this is the week leading up to July 4 and we intend to celebrate - how else - by playing cards.
The pivotal event of the week occurs on Saturday July 4. We will have our regular game at 10:30 and then will have a very special July 4 event starting at 4:00 pm with a picnic in the parking lot and followed by a game about 5:00. This is a triple points game and we will play for the Jimmy Nichols memorial trophy. The event will be finished in time to watch your favorite fireworks display. We also are pleased to announce that starting on Tuesday evening July 7, we will be running a Beginners' Class. If you have friends that are interesting, have them call 727-363-1136 to register.

Finally, on Saturday July 11, Clearwater DBC is hosting the next Inter-club team challenge, with a pizza dinner at 6:15 and the game at 7:00. We need players at all levels. Sign up at the club.

The majority of the people in Florida do not get out to the bridge club. So practice some independence and play at the club this week. Get some practice during the week and then celebrate July 4th with a big game at the club. See you at the picnic and bridge table!
