From regional to sectional tournament.

Yes, folks, lots of our crowd played in Clearwater this past week and many did very well! Congratulations to all who earned points.

And now, we look forward to a sectional tournament right here ar our club from Friday (Sept 3) to Monday (Sept 6). Details of the tournament are at www.stpetebridge.org Don't miss out on this.

Monday at 12:30 - Open and 299er Game

Monday at 7:00 - Double Point Game

Tuesday at 10:00 - Supervised Play

Tuesday at 12:30 - Handicapped Game

Tuesday at 7:00 - 99er Game (mini-lesson at 6:45)

Wednesday at 9:15 - Newplicate Game ( mini-lesson at 8:50)

Wednesday at 12:30 - Open and 299er Game

Wednesday at 7:00 - Open Game

Thursday at 9:30 - Competitive Bidding Class

Thursday at 12;30 - Handicapped Game

Thursday at 7:00 - Swiss Team Game

and then the big tournament!

We also have announced the lesson schedule starting the week of September 20. It is as follows:

Tuesday – 10:00 – Supervised Play – Freida Dohrmann

Tuesday – 7:00 - Bridge Basics Workshop – Charles Gill

For those returning to bridge or wanting to work on

Fundamentals - $10 weekly

Wednesday – 9:30 – Beginners* - Marianne Timmons

Thursday – 9:30 – Competitive Bidding – Leelyn Main

9:30 - Intermediate Class – Marianne Timmons

For those with some bridge experience - $10 weekly

Friday – 10:00 – Supervised Play – Freida Dohrmann

10:00 – Open Forum – Diane Wharen - $5 weekly

We also are delighted to announce that Eddie Wold and Bob Morris will be coming to our club November 23 and 24 to do two seminars. Details are at the web site. You will not want to miss this. They are great.
